This is a summary of the Los Angeles Unified School District policies and procedures.

1. Medicines: Children must not carry medicines, asthma inhalers or over the counter medications to school.
2. Students who need to take prescribed medications during school hours must have their parent's signed request including the Private Physician's written instructions and signature on file in the office.
3. Medication must be brought to school, along with the required forms before it can be administered to the child.
4. Sick Children: Sick children should remain at home. After an absence, each child MUST have a written note stating the reason and date(s) of absence.

Parents requesting homework for an ill child must notify the school office before 10:00 a.m. Homework may be picked up in the office after school.
