Here is what we are learning this week December 15th):


Letters/Sounds: Long E spelled e, e_e, e_a, _y, and _ie_)

Language Arts: We will continue learning about the weather and vocabulary associated with it. We will also focus on writing using the words: First, Next, Then, and Finally.

Math: We are working on money. This week the chapters become more confusing. The students will be learning: counting with quarters, choosing which coins to use, making a table (and figuring out coins needed), comparing amounts and making purchases. PLEASE BE SURE TO PRACTICE COUNTING WITH ALL AMOUNTS OF COINS AT HOME.

Social Studies: Hanukkah, Christmas and, Kwanzaa

Art: We will have dance. We also will be practicing for our Winter Program.
